United States: There are so many options for breakfast—like Apple Jacks, cheese omelettes, blueberry pancakes, or even leftover pizza! But some breakfast choices are healthier than others. So, what’s the best choice for a healthy start to the day? And how can we make our breakfast both yummy and good for us?
That is the question that we Raj Punjabi and Noah Michelson hosts of the HuffPost’s “Am I Doing It Wrong?” podcast posited to Lisa Moskovitz, a registered dietitian, certified dietitian-nutritionist and the chief executive officer of NY Nutrition Group when she came to the studio to share her ideas on how to do breakfast right.
As reported by the HuffPost, the ósculum saluting your eyes and palates through Moskovitz’s breakfast all-star is chia seeds sourced from the Salvia hispanica plant, which is also a member of the mint family.
She had this to say: “It’s a superfood because of all of the nutritional properties that it has, from fiber and magnesium to B vitamins and iron, and there’s a little protein in there,” the author of “The Core 3 Healthy Eating Plan”.

They also contain Omega 3 fatty acids that maintain our brains and heart’s health and also resulted in reduction of irritation.
“It’s great for regulating digestion,” Moskovitz said, “so for anyone who sits on the toilet more frequently… than they would like to, chia seeds contain insoluble fiber as well as soluble fiber.”
For example, consuming only a serving of chia seeds — a serving being anything between two and three tablespoons — can provide almost 10 grams of fiber, which is about the daily fiber intake that most people should get.
Aside from aiding in digestion by increasing fecal bulk and reducing fecal Impact, Fiber seems to reduce the incidence of many dangerous health disorders, including heart diseases, diabetes, and some cancers.

Chia seeds are also very versatile, and which can be incorporated in very many breakfast foods thereby enhancing their nutritional values.
“You can swallow it with your yogurt, you can take it with your oatmeal, you can use it to sprinkle your avocado toast, on your eggs, on your coffee, you can just take it with water.”
Moskovitz suggested, and hereby you can soak them in your almond milk or daily milk or any or oat milk and leave them in a fridge overnight and that’s great grab-and-go.”
By making the tiny tweaks which includes adding chia seeds or the other nutrient packed foods just like the nuts and the fruits to our tried and the true breakfast go-tos, so that we can score more of what our bodies need without missing out on our morning favorites.
